ENID, OK - The "full beaver moon" in 2025 is the November full moon, which will be a supermoon peaking on November 5th and appearing as the largest and brightest full moon of the year. This full moon will be 14% bigger and 30% brighter!
It gets its name because beavers are busy building their lodges for the winter at this time of year, and it was historically a peak time for beaver trapping for their fur.
For viewing, look east around sunset and find a spot with minimal light pollution for the best visibility.
