In her earlier years, she loved traveling with Claudia and going to Lake City, Colorado every summer spending time with family and friends and fishing for trout. In her later years, she enjoyed her dog companions, Lucy, Desi and Sadie, and sitting outside in the evenings with family and friends, watching the birds and squirrels that came to her feeders and bird bath

She was a strong independent woman until her passing. She touched the lives of many.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Neal, daughter Claudia Ann Kinman, and grandson, Jason Neal Hampton, and beloved sister Marcella . She is survived by sons Joe Neal and Joan, Hal Brent and Carol, son-in-law, Dan Kinman, granddaughter, Jennie Brinkley and Micheal, great granddaughters Hannah and Jessie Hampton and Reagan Brinkley, great grandson, Cooper Brinkley and other special family members: Morgan Smith, Andy and Jessica Smith, and Josh and Melissa Cordes.
