George Hugh Wagner Jr.

Wednesday, December 16th, 1953 - Sunday, October 29th, 2023

George Hugh Wagner Jr. was born December 16, 1953, to George H. Wagner Sr. and Margaret Tomlin Wagner in Cincinnati, Ohio and left this life at home peacefully on October 29, 2023.

He was raised and attended school in Covington, Kentucky with his mother, grandparents, aunts, and his cousin Pat.

His first career was in the United States Air Force where he did many things. He traveled all over the world as a loadmaster, missile safety with Titan Missiles and later as safety technician at Shepard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas until his retirement. After military retirement in 1990, he and his family moved to Enid where he was a safety technician for the Department of Defense until his second retirement in 2010.

George was fun loving guy, who loved his family including our Scottie dog Laird, fast cars, motorcycles, computers, traveling in their RV, and Star Trek.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Margaret, his father George, his grandmother and grandfather Tomlin, mother and father in-laws Barney and Oneta Lehmbeck Sr., and brother-in-law Byron Lehmbeck.

He is survived by his wife Debbie of the home, son Nicholas Wagner and wife Heather of Enid, son Derrick Spence and girlfriend Peggy Shewmaker of Dallas, Texas, grandson Tree Wagner of Enid, and our Scottie Laird.

A memorial will be held at a later date, and the family is requesting that in lieu of flowers that donations be made in his name to Wounded Warriors.
Special thanks to the special staff of Sooner Healthcare, Dr. Jamie Benton, Kylie McVey, and Carrie of Elara Caring.

Live Long and Prosper in the Arms of the Lord!
