ENID, OK - City of Enid Park and Recreation officials announced today the basketball courts at Don Haskins Park will be closed effective Thursday, March 1, 2018. The Oklahoma City Thunder, through a partnership with the Thunder Cares Foundation is refurbishing the basketball courts and contractors will begin work immediately.

According to Kevin Boehm, Supervisor of Parks and Recreation, the City of Enid is excited for the opportunity to work with the Oklahoma Thunder Foundation. Boehm added, “the completion of this project will continue to improve our park facilities we offer our citizens.” The expected re-open date is mid to late March.

The Thunder Cares Foundation serves as the charitable arm of the Oklahoma City Thunder, raising and distributing funds to support the team’s community outreach programs.
