Blue Angels Headline Tinker Air Show

TINKER, AFB - The mission of the Blue Angels is to showcase the pride and professionalism of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps by inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country through flight demonstrations and community outreach.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will headline Tinker Air Force Base’s 2019 Star Spangled Salute Air and Space Show this year, officials announced Tuesday afternoon.

According to Tinker officials, the Blue Angels haven’t performed at Tinker since 2007. The show is set to take place June 1 and 2.

The event is open to the public and admission is FREE. No tickets are required.

Gates open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flying acts from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Statics and vendors available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Other aerial performers will include an F-16 Viper, B-2 Spirit, Wings of Blue, Jack Links, Jelly Belly, MiG-17F plus many more.

Guests can also enjoy military static displays, live musical entertainment, many children's activities and other activities.
