ENID, Okla. - All residents of Enid, Oklahoma are invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony at Meadowlake Park on Friday, May 13th at 12 noon.  The new concession building, dog park and slide will be the backdrop for the ribbon cutting event hosted by the City of Enid.

The new concession building will not only have concessions but  will also house a new car ride for children. The old pedal cars have been updated and they will be back in action. The park’s rides are scheduled to open the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend.
-
After the ceremony at the concession building, there will be additional ribbon cuttings at both the new dog park on the north side of the park and the new slide on the south side of the park. The new dog park is the second one for Enid, joining the one located at Crosslin Park. It is for both small and large dogs.
-
A children's hill slide has been installed on the south side of the park. Many residents will remember a slide in that area back in the 70's. A new slide was originally installed in 2014 but was removed for safety and ADA reasons.
