Martha Ann Robberson

December 18, 1933 - May 18, 2023

The funeral for Martha Ann Robberson, 89 year-old Enid resident is 9:00AM Friday, May 26, 2023 in the Ivan-Keatly Family Chapel at the Commons. The revs. Jim and Gail Edmison officiating. Burial will follow that afternoon at the Lincoln Cemetery in Lebo, Kansas under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:30PM-8PM Thursday evening.

Martha was born December 18, 1933 in Idabel, Oklahoma to Leonard Lee and Lillian Bell(Brett) Lambert and died Thursday, May 18, 2023 in the Commons. She attended Idabel schools and graduated with the class of 1951. On April 3, 1953 she married Wilburn Ray Robberson whom she had known since childhood.

As Wilburn was in the Navy and then the Air Force, the couple was stationed lived in numerous places....including three years in England and three in Japan. In 1986, the couple moved back to Garvin, Oklahoma and raised cattle for eleven years. In 1997, they moved to Enid, Oklahoma to be closer to their family and grandchildren.

In addition to raising her family, Martha was a real estate broker and also served as the administrative assistant to the District Superintendent for the United Methodist Church in Enid, Oklahoma. She was an active member of Eastern Star and also served her Chapter as Worthy Matron.

Martha enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and was a fierce competitor. She was an accomplished seamstress and spent many years crocheting, knitting, and tatting. She made crocheted dolls and bunnies for her granddaughters and made blankets for all the grandchildren .She was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting classic books as well as collecting Marcrest pottery.

She is survived by her daughters Belinda Robberson of Wichita, KS. ,and Tracey Small and husband Harold of Enid. Son, Michael Robberson and wife Anita of Ft. Meyers, Fla. 12 grandchildren; Anne, Jessica, Amanda, John, Nicholas, Jana, Samantha, Scott, Sarah, Hannah, Ethan, and Noah. 15 great-grandchildren, and one brother Scott Lambert and wife Gloria from California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wilburn, 2 brothers and 2 half-sisters.

Memorials may be made to either Oklahoma Medical Research (Diabetes Division) or (Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Division).
