Cardboard and Duct Tape Boat Race
Champlin Pool 400 W Cherokee Ave., Enid, OK, United StatesThe City of Enid Parks and Recreation department will host the 2026 Cardboard and Duct Tape Boat Race from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 27 at Champlin Pool. Boats must be made before the race and must be built from cardboard and duct tape. No additional building materials are allowed. Paddles must also be made out of cardboard and duct tape. The community event will feature a parade, family activities, games, vendors, food, inflatables, contests, and entertainment at the Hennessey High School football practice field. Activities will begin at 6 p.m., with a community parade scheduled to line up at 7 p.m. at the Christian Church parking lot. The parade will begin at 7:30 p.m. and travel through town before ending near the Freedom Fest activities.
