NOC Planetarium Show
Mackie Planetarium Michael Hedges Blvd., Enid, OK, United StatesNorthern Oklahoma College Enid will host a community planetarium show on Tuesday, May 5 at 6 p.m. at the Mackie Planetarium. Visitors will see the Tales of a Time Traveler - with an Introduction to what to look for in the sky during the month of May. Groups and schools may arrange a planetarium show by contacting Dr. Frankie Wood-Black at NOC by calling 580-628-6440 or emailing Astronomy@noc.edu Admission is free to the event. NOC will also be hosting a summer planetarium series at noon on June 17, July 8 and July 29.

Enid High May Fete is a rite of passage for the senior class of Enid High School. It comes from an old English May Day tradition which celebrates the coming of spring. Enid High turned this tradition into a ceremony that not only welcomes spring but also honors the senior class each year. It began in 1915 and has changed very little over the decades.
