Programs all across the country try to navigate “The Road to Enid.” David Allen Memorial Ballpark has played host to this National Junior College Athletic Association’s championship tournament since 2009. The NJCAA has extended its contract to continue bringing this championship to Enid through 2028! The 12-team field will have two at-large teams in addition to the 10 teams that qualify by winning their region tournament. Leonardo’s Children’s Museum is excited to announce updated hours for its 2025 Summer Discovery Camp: Global Adventure, which hopes to offer families greater flexibility and even more hands-on fun — all at no additional cost. For ages 4-12. This summer, the camp will run from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with early drop-off available at 7:30 AM and late pick-up until 12:30 PM, free of charge. This change expands the popular morning session into a single, extended format to better serve families and streamline camp operations. June 2 through July 25.

The June planetarium show at the Mackie Planetarium on the NOC Enid campus will be offered on Thursday, June 5 at 7 p.m. Planetarium Director Fritz Osell will show the night sky over Enid during summer and point out where constellations, planets and other interesting objects may be found in the evening sky. Osell will show where Mars can be seen in the early evening sky near the constellation Leo. Also, Osell will show visitors the night sky from Enid and point out stars having known planetary systems.
