Amplify is YWCA Enid’s new podcast focused on elevating conversations surrounding advocacy, hope, healing, and community impact. This special event will feature a live podcast recording and meaningful community connection - all benefiting YWCA’s life-saving services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Kick off the summer with a First Friday celebration! They will have live music by DJ XL! He'll be bringing the beats while you check out all the happenings downtown. Live Music, water games, water slides, food trucks, vendors, local business specials and more! | 5 events, Oklahomans looking for enjoyable times with the family this summer may want to give fishing a try. And a great time for that will be this weekend, June 6-7, during Oklahoma's Free Fishing Days, which allow people to fish without a state fishing license. Enid has a few places inside city limits to fish: • Meadowlake Park (Van Buren & Rupe) • Government Springs North Park (South 5th) • Crosslin Park (West Purdue) • City of Enid Water Works (West Chestnut) -  Chess Club of Enid meets Saturday at Noon at the Braums across from the police station.
