Dick Hartling

September 17, 1946 - March 29, 2021

The services Celebrating and honoring the life of Dick Hartling, 74, of Enid, will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday April 3, 2021 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wade Burleson officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Dick was born September 17, 1946 to Harold and Marjorie (Livingston) Hartling in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life March 29, 2021 in the OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City.

He was raised and educated in Enid graduating with the class of 1964. He enlisted in the United States Army and honorably served his country for four years. He worked for Champlin Refinery for many years. He then worked in residential construction before becoming Care Provider at Norther Oklahoma Resource Center until his retirement in 2012.

He enjoyed yard work and always had a beautiful garden. He played softball in his younger years and shuffleboard in his later years.

He is survived by three sons Cliff Boland and wife Jo, Dick Hartling, and Mitchell Hartling; one daughter Sharlyn Boland; grandchildren Cain Hartling, Dustin Conrady, Cory Conrady, Tracee Ann Tabor, and Rashel Dalegowski; great grandchildren Evelyn Grace, Miles, Zander, Ayden, Bailey, Liam, James, and Connor; and two brothers Gary and Jack Hartling.

He was preceded in death by his wife Anita Hartling, parents Harold and Marjorie Hartling, and one grandson Micheal Lee.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the American Diabetes Association with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
