C.A. Heinrich

August 15, 1943 - December 01, 2020

The graveside service for C.A. Heinrich, 77 year-old Enid resident, will be 2:00pm Friday, December 4, 2020 at the pavilion of Ames Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Viewing will be 8:00am-8:00pm Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the funeral home.

C.A. was born August 15, 1943 in Enid to Cletus and Francis (Detrick) Heinrich and passed away December 1, 2020 at his home in Enid.

He grew up on the family farm in Ringwood and graduated from Ringwood High School in 1961. He attended Okmulgee Tech where he became a certified mechanic. C.A. proudly joined the United States Air Force and worked as a mechanic and crew chief.

On July 16, 1976, he married the love of his life, Barbara Skalenda in Ames. She preceded him in death in 2003.

C.A. started East Maine Conoco with his father. In September, 2005 he retired after 35 years of being owner and operator.

His favorite hobby was fishing but his greatest pride and joy was his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Barbara.

C.A. is survived by his two daughters, Amy and Natalie and her husband, Dale of Enid; grandchildren, Paige Cogswell and Tanner Cogswell; brothers, Ted Heinrich and Richard Heinrich as well as numerous extended family and a host of friends.

Memorials can be given in his name to Shriners Hospital with the funeral home acting as custodian of the fund.
