April 10 Homicide Update

ENID, OK - UPDATE: Three additional arrests have been made in relation to a homicide last week and further arrests are expected as the investigation continues.

Justine Hartfield, 20; Jaheim Hill, 22; and Gabrielle Franco, 20; all of Enid, were arrested on complaints of accessory to murder Wednesday.

Enid Police Department officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired about 10:40 p.m. Thursday, April 10, in the 900 block of East Maple.

Arriving officers found a person deceased in the back yard of a residence who appeared to have been shot. That person was identified as 17-year-old Clayton Rowland, of Enid.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined Trevion Hartfield, 19, of Enid, was the suspect in the homicide of Rowland.

A warrant for his arrest on a complaint of first-degree murder was obtained and Hartfield was later taken into custody in Oklahoma City by members of the U.S. Marshal's Service.

Detectives learned through the course of their investigation of the involvement of Justine Hartfield, Hill and Franco to the incident April 10.

"There are other individuals involved and we are working diligently to determine who they are," Lt. Bryan Hart said. "If you have any information contact us."

The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are expected.

"Detectives have worked tirelessly and will continue to do so until every individual responsible is taken into custody," Hart said.

Arriving officers found a person deceased in the backyard of a residence in the 900 block of East Maple who appeared to have been shot. That person was identified as 17-year-old Clayton Rowland, of Enid.

Officers and detectives canvassed the area and found multiple areas where shots were fired and multiple crime scenes were established.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined Trevion Hartfield, 19, of Enid, was the suspect in the homicide of Rowland.

A warrant for his arrest on a complaint of first-degree murder was obtained and Hartfield was taken into custody Friday in Oklahoma City by members of the U.S. Marshal's Service.

Hartfield was later transported to the Garfield County Detention Facility and booked on the murder charge.

"This investigation is ongoing, we are actively investigating other leads and trying to determine who else was involved," Lt. Bryan Hart said.
