Leonardo’s Spring Break Discovery Camp

ENID, OK - Leonardo’s Children’s Museum is thrilled to announce its upcoming Spring Break Discovery Camp, which is sure to be the most engaging Leonardo’s camp experience yet! This half-day camp is designed to ignite the imaginations of children from Pre-K to 5th grade, offering them an immersive journey into the worlds of inspiring art, captivating science, and boundless play at Leonardo’s Children’s Museum and Adventure Quest.

Scheduled from March 11th to March 15th, each morning from 8:30 am to 11:30 am, this year's Spring Break Discovery Camp will be an unforgettable adventure filled with exploration and discovery. With daily themes centered around dinosaurs, plants and bugs, weather, the human body, and space, young campers will embark on a thrilling voyage of learning and creativity.

Parents have the flexibility to enroll their children for the en;re week, enjoying a discounted rate, or opt for select days to accommodate their schedules. Standard prices for the camp are $150 for all five days or $50 per day for select days. Moreover, Leonardo’s Children’s Museum is pleased to offer discounts and special rates for its members, active military families, and families enrolling multiple children. Potential scholarships are available for families with limited income.

Reflecting on the camp's rich history, Riley Jantzen, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Leonardo’s Children’s Museum, shared, “Leonardo’s has been hosting art and science camps since even before the museum was opened in the mid 90s! I have had the opportunity to be part of quite a few Leo’s camps over the years, and it has been a lot of fun. But I am really excited to welcome campers to a bit of a reimagined camp!”

The 2024 Leonardo’s Discovery Camp will introduce several enhancements aimed at providing an even more enriching experience. These include a heightened focus on art techniques and mediums, a refined balance between art and science lessons, and extended play;me to explore Leonardo’s world class facilities. Furthermore, the museum is exclusively offering a half-day camp during spring break, ensuring that each morning session is packed with fun and learning opportunities. In the summer, the offerings will be expanded to include both morning and afternoon sessions, with each session covering the same captivating projects. The goal is to create a consistent and accessible experience for all campers, enabling more children to par;ticipate and benefit from the programs.
