Zaloudek's Marine Closing The Doors

ENID, OK - After 98 years of business in Enid, Oklahoma, Zaloudek's Marine is closing up shop. Through most of four generations the business has transformed over the decades. Zaloudek's began as the West Side Feed Store, a General Store, in 1922 in downtown Enid. From there they grew into the Zaloudek Implement Co. and ended after nearly 80 years as Zaloudek's Marine, a marine dealership.
-
During that time, Zaloudek's sold a wide variety of different brands of boats and engines and always carried plenty of parts. They also provided service for everything they sold. Their customer base was primarily Enid and Northwest Oklahoma.
-
They did however reach customers across the country. Boats were sold to people in 28 states across the nation. Boats went to Washington State in the Northwest, South to Texas, East to Pennsylvania and one was even taken to Africa for Missionary work.
-
The Zaloudek's believed one of the primary benefits of boating is having the family unit together, developing memories that last a lifetime. Jim Zaloudek posted on Facebook that they feel very privileged for whatever part they have been able to contribute to these fun times with Enid families and friends.
-
With the store closing soon, all parts and accessories are now 30% off. They will no longer be repairing or servicing boats. Zaloudek's Marine is located at 1802 N. Van Buren.
