ENID, OK - The City of Enid, Oklahoma is taking nominations for the 2025 Walk of Fame Award to be presented in September during the celebration of the Cherokee Strip Days. The Walk of Fame is an award given by the Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Enid to individuals that have made significant contributions to the Enid community.
To be considered for the Walk of Fame, a person shall:
• Have demonstrated a lifetime of service to the community in general; or
• Have made an extraordinary contribution or act of selflessness or statesmanship for Enid.
Nominations must include the name, biography, and a photo of the individual that is being nominated. Additionally, the name, phone number, and mailing address of the individual submitting the nomination should also be included.
To submit a nomination, download and submit the form with the biography and photo from: Enid.org/WalkofFame. Nominations will be accepted in the City of Enid Office of the City Clerk until 5 p.m. local time on Friday, May 2, 2025.
