ENID, OK - The Salvation Army of Enid offers social services to support those in need, both spiritually and physically. As a United Way partner agency, the Salvation Army’s service in 2024 is being celebrated!
“We are doing a lot here at the Salvation Army,” Captain David Brittle said. “We want people to know that the money we receive goes directly back into our community. In 2024, 98 percent of our budget went directly to serve those in need.”
For those experiencing homelessness, The Salvation Army is the only shelter covering Grant, Garfield, Major and Alfalfa counties. The shelter provides meals, clothing, a shower and a warm bed.
“All services are free,” Brittle said. “We are open seven days a week, 24 hours per day. We’re here and try not to turn anyone away for any reason.”
