Funeral services for Toni Ward Christenson Miskell, 68, Enid, will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Chaplain Don Burris officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Paradise Cemetery, Breckenridge, under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Toni was born on November 30, 1947 in Cherokee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Willis and Frances Plummer Ward, and passed away peacefully on January 23, 2016 at her residence. She moved to Enid at the age of two where she was raised and educated. Toni graduated from Cameron University in Lawton with a BS in Elementary Education with specifics of math. She taught school at Fletcher Junior High for two years and then Coolidge Elementary for Twenty years, retiring in 2008.
Survivors include daughter, Candice Christenson of Enid; son, David Christenson of Marlow; sisters, Alice Evers, Lottie Williams, Viola Gay, and Velma Hall, all of Enid, Shila Hoffman and Paulette Ward, both of Crowley, Texas and two grandchildren, Kris and Kyle Christenson.
