Thelma Mae (Sims) Aylett

OI570929710_ThelmaAylettThelma Mae (Sims) Aylett, 76, of Enid, Oklahoma, formerly of Paramount, California, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2016 in Enid, Oklahoma.

Thelma was born July 10, 1940, in Buckeye, Arizona to Bennie Andrew Sims and Mary Alma (Thompson) Sims.
On March 7, 1965 she married Harold Clayton Aylett in Las Vegas, Nevada. They raised two children in Paramount California then moved to Enid, Oklahoma in 1996.

Thelma enjoyed crafts, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a pre-school teacher and worked with senior citizens teaching crafts for many years in California.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gerald Bobby Sims and half-brother J.D. Sims.

Thelma is survived by her two children, Pamela Zellers and husband Steve of Prattville, Alabama, Diane Fregeau and husband Rob of Corona, California, six grandchildren, Jennifer Wright and husband Dave of Monmouth, Oregon, Morgan Gumaer of Prattville, Alabama, Erika Gumaer of Vestavia, Alabama
Tyler Fregeau of Corona, California, Brandon Fregeau of Corona, California, Payton Fregeau of Corona, California and two great-grandchildren, Jack Gumaer and Kaylee Wright.
