Jerry Lee Dollarhide

OI1980261402_JerryDollarhidepictureJerry Lee Dollarhide, 60, Tonkawa resident, was born on September 24, 1955 in Shidler, Oklahoma, the son of Ralph and Bernice Allred Dollarhide, and passed away peacefully on August 6, 2016 in Ponca City. He was raised and educated in Tonkawa, graduating from Tonkawa High School with the class of 1973.

Jerry served his country in the United States Navy for two years and returned to Tonkawa after receiving his honorable discharge. He worked for Rice Painting and Sandblasting, retiring in 2004. Jerry was a member of the Labor Union of Ponca City, loved fishing, noodling, playing cards, and was an OU Football and Thunder Basketball fan. Jerry enjoyed plaing X-Box Video games and loved the casinos.

Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Gonzalez of Ponca City; grandchildren, Kayla and Ashey Gonzalez of Ponca City; sisters, Sharon (Mike) Oxford of Tonkawa, Pat (Wayne) Moss of Blackwell, and Debbie Morgan of Blackwell; brother, Bobby Dollarhide of Blackwell; numerous nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Trevon. Jerry was preceded in passing by his parents, two nieces and two nephews. Services are pending and will be announced at a later date.

The family has selected Hospice of North Central Oklahoma as appropriate for memorial donations. The family would like to thank Ponca City Nursing Home and Rehab as well as the staff at Hospice of North Central Oklahoma for your tireless efforts treating Jerry. Amy Stittsworth Funeral services.
