A Celebration of Life Service for Sylvia Ann Ross, 57 of Enid, will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 28, 2025 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Featherstone officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sylvia Ann Ross was the first born to the proud parents of Herbert K. Ross and Ann B. Wilson Ross, on October 5, 1967, in Lakenheath, England. Her father and a brother Kenneth R. Ross preceded her in death. She accepted Christ at an early age.
Her family moved from England, to Arkansas, and settled in Enid, Oklahoma.
Sylvia attended Enid Public Schools and graduated from Enid High School. She later studied at Autry Technology Center. She worked at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, and later at Red Lobster.
Sylvia loved and cared for her family, and her friends. She enjoyed shopping, decorating and fashions. She possessed a captivating sense of style. She had a passion for long hair. It was part of who she was. She always loved a “flowing mane”.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Tyleshia Prince, Enid; her mother Annie Ross, Enid; her sister Myra Lear, California; an aunt Dorothy Pitts, Missouri; a nephew, Tory Merz, Enid; and a host of cousins and friends.
