The Graveside service celebrating the life of Stephen Guentert, 60, of Enid will be held at 10:00am Tuesday May 2, 2017 in the Paradise Cemetery with the Rev. E. Rollins officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
He was born February 25, 1957 to Edwin and Cleona Perkins Guentert in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed from this life on April 28, 2017 in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised from a very early age by his staff family at Enid State School and later N.O.R.C.E.
In 2007, he joined a group home where he lived until his passing.
He enjoyed community events, music, television programs and friends. His best friend and house mate was Lucas Clayton.
He is survived by his long-time Supportive Community Lifestyles care giving team, Guardian Kelli McLerran and a host of loving friends.
He was preceded in death by guardian Judy McMahan.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Creative Supports Horse Ranch with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
