Albina Marie Ronck

The Mass of Christian Burial for Albina Marie Ronck will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 1, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Reverend Joseph Irwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, under the direction of Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be 7:00 P.M. Sunday, April 30, 2017 in the Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

Albina was born March 1, 1922 on a farm near Medford, OK to Anton and Hendricka (Hulshof) Ciskowski and passed away April 26, 2017 in Enid. She attended Grant County Schools graduating from Medford High School as Salutatorian in 1939. She married Leonard V. Ronck of Wakita, OK on August 11, 1942 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Medford. The couple resided in Medford until moving to Enid in 1948. Albina and her husband purchased Motor Supply, Inc. of Enid in 1966 and operated it until she retired in 1983.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish, Associates of the Sisters of the Precious Blood and RSVP. She sang at nursing homes with the Good Timers musical group and continued visiting shut-ins well into her 80’s.

Albina is survived by sons, Bryan and Cathy of Kansas City; David and Julie of Dallas; daughters, Susan and Ron Bartlett of Enid; Nancy Murrow of Enid; daughter-in-law, Meredith Ronck of Moore; grandchildren, Eric, Jeff, James, Abby, Jay, Emily and Andrew Ronck; Ryan, Alyson and Kyle Murrow; Lori Jackson, Darrell Platt, Jenifer Hall and Michael Bartlett. She also has 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Greg; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Daily Bread, a food ministry for the community of Enid provided by local catholic churches.
