Santa Claus is Coming to Town

ENID, OK - According to the Santa Sentinel, Santa Claus has announced that Enid will once again be his vacation destination this December.

"I love Enid's quaint downtown and Christmas spirit and I always enjoy my time there," said Claus. "I know I'll be very busy, but I'm looking forward to seeing all of the children."

Claus will be making a few brief visits to town to participate in Main Street Enid's, "Enid Lights Up the Plains" event on Friday, November 24 and will stay over for the Stride Center's "Breakfast With Santa" on Saturday, November 25 from 8am-11am.

He will make another appearance at the opening ceremonies for "The One: Bright Lights" tree lighting on Sunday, December 3 at 5;30pm before returning to the North Pole for a few days.

Beginning December 13, Santa will commence a two week stay in his cabin near the ice skating rink in downtown Enid and will be taking visitors at that time.

"We love that Santa chooses Enid for his vacation. We are working hard to make sure his stay here is full of fun things to do and that he has comfortable accommodations," said Enid Event Company.

Local media sources, including Enid Buzz, will be keeping the city updated about Claus's whereabouts and activities over the coming weeks.
