Rex Eldon Gregory, 92, of Enid, was born October 18, 1933, in the Drummond Flats to Paul and Viola Gregory. He passed on April 14, 2026 at his home in Enid. He lived a long and full life rooted in faith, hard work, and family.
Rex was a lifelong farmer, a calling that was more than a profession-it was a way of life. Through changing seasons and generations, he remained deeply connected to the land, carrying with him a quiet strength, resilience, and unwavering work ethic.
He was a lifelong member of Ames Christian Church, where his faith was a steady presence throughout his life and a guiding force in how he lived and cared for others.
Rex shared 70 devoted years of marriage with his sweetheart, Patricia Elaine Gregory, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Jantz and her husband, Darrell; grandchildren Greg and Leslie Jantz; his sister Pauline Bymaster and his brother Wayne Gregory.
He is survived by his son, Scot Gregory and wife Lynn; his brother, Jim Gregory and wife Jeanette; his brother-in-law, Dimmick Bymaster; and his sister-in-law, Wynona Gregory, brother's in law and sister's in law Karen and Robert Hayes, Leticia Morris, Evelyn Lehenbauer, Doyle Lehenbauer and Steve and Sue Lehenbauer.
Rex is further survived by 8 grandchildren and their spouses: Jeff Jantz and wife Megan, Michelle Rundle and husband Michael, Lauren Norcom and husband Tyler, Caitlin Reid and husband Jeremy, Logan Jantz, Morgan Kuykendall and husband Chris, Harrison Gregory and wife Heidi, and Thomas Gregory.
He was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren: Mason Jantz; Camberly Heisler, Jayden and Dawsyn Reid; Keaton, Case and Christian Rundle; Ryker Norcom; and Ella, Everett, Eli, and Ezra Kuykendall, all of whom brought him great pride and joy.
Rex will be remembered as a man of quiet strength who loved farming with his roots set deeply in the farm ground and unwavering dedication to his family. His life was not measured in words, but in the steady presence he provided, the work he gave, and the legacy he leaves behind in the generations that follow.

Services will be held at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel, April 18th, 10:00am with Pastor Lance Sherwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Ames Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
