Rachel Ann Gonzalez

Celebration of Life Service for Rachel Gonzalez, 50 of Waukomis, will be Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm in Enid First Assembly of God Church with Pastors Dan Barrick and Bradley Barrick officiating. Services are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. The service will be livestreamed on the church’s website, enidfirstassembly.com. Viewing will be Wednesday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Thursday, 8:00 am until 11:30 am at the funeral home.

Rachel was born on September 24, 1970 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to James Geddes and Linda Jones and died on December 14, 2020 in Kansas City, Kansas.

She grew up in Fargo and Drummond and graduated from Drummond High School. On June 18, 1999, Rachel married Jesus Gonzalez in Enid and they made their home in Waukomis. She worked at Golden Oaks and later at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. Rachel was a member of Enid Assembly of God Church, where she taught Sunday School and active in the Ladies Ministries.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Jones in April 2020; step-father, Curtis Jones.

She is survived by her husband, Jesus “Jesse” Gonzalez; children, Ashely (Matt) Annuschat, Ariana Gonzalez, Jennifer Geddes and Andrew Geddes; three grandchildren, Rain, Raiden, Rafe; father, James Geddes; brothers, William “Bill” Geddes, and Wesley (Tonya) Harbour; special aunt, Mary (Louis) Hickey; special cousin, who was like a sister, Meredith Hines; four step sisters; other relatives and friends.
