Public Library and Partners Provide Free Lunch

ENID, OK - The Enid Public Library together with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, Loaves & Fishes, and the Parks & Recreation Department will be offering Lunch Bunch each week, Monday through Friday, from July 1st to August 9th, 2019 with the exception of Independence Day, July 4th. They will be serving lunches to anyone ages birth to 18 in two different locations this year.

From 10:45-11:45 AM, Enid Public Library will be behind Mercy House (1714 S 4th) for literature and lunch. Visit the mobile library where children will be able to grab a book, read it, and return it for another selection. Lunches will be served as well.

From 12:00-2:00 PM, Enid Public Library will be at Champion Park Gym (700 N 10th St). Lunches will be served to anyone ages birth to 18 from 12:00-12:45 PM. There will be stories, music, and movement offered each day with special programs by Enid SPCA, Family Martial Arts of Enid, Enid Police Department, and more. Snacks are to be served at 12:45 PM.

This year, Enid Transit is offering free transportation for families. Anyone needing a ride can call Enid Transit at 580-233-7433 to make arrangements.
