ENID, OK - If there was ever an estate sale you wouldn't want to miss this is it. The Estate of Bill and Marilyn Humphrey is so large it has been moved to OKC. Enid and Garfield County residents will enjoy many of the locally related items available. The sale will be conducted by McNeil Liquidations.

The Humphrey sale is filled with a wonderful, world class collection of petroliana. You'll find gasoline globes, visible gas pumps, rare cans, vintage advertising (including many porcelain enamel signs!), gasoline and petroleum rarities to delight even the pickiest of collectors!

Brand names include Packard, Texaco, Conoco, Esso, Bowswer, White Rose, Metro, Champlin, Mobil, Phillips, Kendall, Marland, Red Crown, Enarco, Knox, Eason, with scads of other rare petroleum and automotive memorabilia.

On top of the petroliana there are books, toys, dolls, memorabilia, hood ornaments, signage and even a traffic light. Buyers can also find general store items, including crockery, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, vintage advertising, Frankoma and other pottery, and SO much more!

Native American art, Mission-style bookcases by Globe-Wernicke, Victorian lithographs, Garfield County stuff and Indian Territory memorabilia are part of the sale as well. There are hundreds of items connected to the city of Enid including dozens of postcards and framed pictures.

The sale will take place at 4932 N. May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73112 from Friday thru Monday (December 13~16). Opening day is Friday, December 13 at 8:00am (Numbers handed out starting at 7:00am). The sale ends at until 3:00pm.

Saturday/Sunday times are 9:00am until 3:00pm (Numbers handed out starting at 8:00am). Monday times run from 9:00am until 3:00pm (No Numbers).

There are special instructions for this sale that buyers need to be aware of. There will be on-site security and only a portion of buyers will be allowed in at one time. The venue is equipped with a monitored security system. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted but no checks. Cash only on showcase items. Inspect your selections with care prior to purchase, as all sales will be absolute and final.

This sale has been advertised nationally and they expect the first customers to start lining up on Thursday, December 12. Be sure to arrive early, be patient, and dress warmly. Remember, too, that no large purses will be allowed at this sale. (You may bring only small clutches big enough to hold wallets. All bags and boxes may be subject to search.)

Staff will not be allowed to wrap, haul, carry, nor deliver. Purchases not picked up by Monday at 1:00pm will be donated to charity. The estate seller cannot be and will not be held responsible for anything that happens to your merchandise if you purchase it and then leave it on site.
