New Mural In Downtown Enid

-
ENID, OK - Downtown Enid just got a lot prettier with the creation of a building sized mural behind PaneVino Wine & Steak. Mickey De La Cruz, restaurant owner, commissioned the project to help beautify the alley behind the buildings on Randolph.
-
The colorful mural is called "Painted Plains" created by street artist Jason Pawley from Oklahoma City. The design signifies the sunsets and flowers on the plains and the colors they create. Wine colors were also used in the design to compliment the wine bar inside.
-
The mural was funded in part by ONEOK, Inc., on behalf of Bert Mackie and the Food for Thought attendees who voted and contributed to this project.

Jason Pawley is an Oklahoma City native. Committing to the career of full-time artist in 2010, he has exhibited his work widely across the region. In 2013, Pawley founded Tall Hill Creative, an alternative art exhibition space and studio. Using aerosol and acrylic paint, Jason juxtaposes soft, organic nature-based shapes on hard concrete structures to create colorful illustrations. Follow Jason @jpawleyp.
