Graveside service for Maudirene Annabelle Barnett, 91 of Oklahoma City, will be 11:00 AM, Thursday April 23, 2026 at the Ames Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Ann was born on the family farm east of Ames on December 25, 1934 to Leroy Byron and Maude M. (Burling) Frazier and passed away in Oklahoma City on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
Ann worked for Lot a Burger in Enid as one of the first employees when it opened in 1952. She graduated from Ames High School in 1954. On February 9, 1956 she married Alfred Wayne Barnett (known as AW) in Fairview. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1960, where she worked for Robertson Drapery Factory until they closed. Ann also would babysit the neighborhood kids. Some of the things that she enjoyed doing were cooking sewing, crocheting, bowling and getting to spending time with her family was the joy of her life. Ann loved to travel, some of her favorite places that she went to are Alaska, Boston, Maui, and Belize where she learned to speak Spanish.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa Hubbard; grandchildren LeAnna Robinson and husband Howard, Angela Dawn Harper, and Jake Robinson; one sister Ruby Lenora Bridges and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members that she loved.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband AW, her parents Leroy and Maude and 7 siblings Vernie Edwin Frazier, Vernal Lee Frazier, Lester Leo Frazier, Clarence Leroy Frazier, Florence Victoria Wiltse, Marjorie Pearl Stonehocker, and Edna Ruth Wilson.
