After John’s death, Mary remained in the San Diego area where she met Forrest Williams. They married on November 1, 1986 and spent many of their years together traveling. Forrest died on July 26, 2008.
A few years later, Mary decided to return to Enid to be nearer to family. She resided in the Commons Cottages before moving into an apartment at the Commons. She loved playing cribbage as well as other games. Her best friend of over 75 years, was Babe Seely, whom she met at the Central Methodist Church in downtown Enid. They remained close through the years.
She was preceded in death by her seven siblings and survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
