Loretta Ball

June 28, 1929 - June 19, 2021

The Funeral service celebrating and honoring the life of Loretta Ball, 91, of Enid will be held Saturday June 26, 2021, at 1:30 P. M. in the North Garland Church of Christ Church with Gordon Jantz Officiating. The family has requested that attendees wear bright casual clothing. A private family burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. The service will be live streamed on the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Face Book page.

She was born to Ada Ross and Lester Rexroat June 28, 1929, in Helena. She was raised and educated in Helena Graduating from Helena High School in 1949. She than attended and graduated from Enid Business college.

She worked at a loan company. She Married the love of her life William “Bill” Ball February 11, 1949, in Enid. The couple made their home in Enid, and she became a mother and stayed at home raising her two daughters.

She later returned to the work force working for Lugar Oil Co. In 1978 she began her work in the title business working for Security Title Co. In 1982 she founded Surety Real Estate Title Co. and Co-founded Surety Abstract in 1999. She had a tireless work ethic that assured her customers where always pleased and her business thrived. It was that same work ethic that kept her working full time until she was 85 years old. She retired in 1985 to devote her full attention on her beloved Grandchildren. She even converted to from an avid O.S.U. fan to a Boomer Sooner fan just for her Oklahoma grandchildren. She loved to watch O.U. basketball and football games; so that she could talk to them about the game.

She was a devoted longtime member of The Garland Road Church of Christ and enjoyed helping with “The Pantry” every Thursday.

She is survived by her daughter Dennette and husband Randy Ray of Enid, and his sister Sandra Ray, of Enid and daughter, Lorinda and husband Bob Estlund, of Katy, Texas; Seven grand Children, Landon Ray and wife Jessica, Ashley Estlund and husband Obtavio Miquel Sanchez Laquna, Kristin Estlund, Katie Estlund, Trevin Ray and wife Jenn, Daniel Estlund and Erik Estlund; and one great grandchild Erik Miguel Sanchez Estlund; sister in laws, Nadine Rexroat and Jean Ball; and her beloved dog Chipper.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents, Ada and Lester Rexroat, and two brothers Kenneth and Ernest.
