The Memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Leo Harold Damron, 62, of Enid, will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday July 1, 2026, in the Enid Cemetery with Pastor Ruth House officiating. The service will be livestreamed on the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Facebook Page. Anyone who would like to follow the procession to the cemetery please meet at Brown-Cummings Funeral home at 9:00 A.M. Leo was born October 12, 1963, to Robert “Bob” and Dorothy (Coynor) Damron in Pamona, California and passed from this life June 22, 2026.
He was raised and educated throughout the United States following his father’s roofing career. He settled in Enid, Oklahoma in 1983. He began working as a roofer for Reddick Roofing and in 1985 began his thirty-eight-year career at Central Machine and Tool; first as a machinist and later as a Forklift operator retiring in 2025. He married Debbie Burchardt July 5, 2007, in Enid. He loved anything with an engine, from motorcycles to classic cars. He enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his family and friends, singing karaoke and could build just about anything.
VHe is survived by his wife Debbie Damron, of the home, his children Robby Damron and his wife Autumn, Brenda Reese, Carol Miller, Amber Morlan, Casey Boyer and husband Tracy; nine grandchildren, Carlie, Brooklyn, April, Macie, Clayton, Teresa, Brelinda, Austin, and Jessica; one sister, Jeannie Bozarth, of Enid, two brothers, Robert Damron, of Enid and Carl Damron and wife Mieshell, of Wyoming, his mother-in-law Barbara Burchardt, sister-in-law Belinda Rowell and husband Jim; and his three dogs “his girls” Rosy, Ellie, and Mia; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Dorothy Damron, one brother Paul Damron, and his father-in-law, Charles Burchardt.
