Larry J. Melvin, was born in Enid to Bill and Lois Melvin on 1-12-1944, passed away in Seattle, Washington on December 7, 2021. His full military service will be in Washington state on March 4, 2022.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1961 and reenlisted in 1967, he served in Vietnam in the Brown Water Navy. He received a Purple Heart.
Anita Readnour is the only living sibling. His brothers, Bill Melvin and Ron Melvin predeceased him as did their parents.
