JWL Announces 2019 Legacy Award Recipient

ENID, OK - The sixth Junior Welfare League of Enid Legacy Award recipient was announced.
-
Kayle Costello-Northcutt is being honored for her years of service to the Enid community. She is chosen for this award because of her dedication to Junior Welfare League, her family, the Enid community, and her resilience despite personal tragedy. She has been an inspiration to many.
-
The Legacy Award was established to recognize honorary or sustaining members who have provided service following active membership in JWL.
-
Costello-Northcutt, a member of JWL in the early 90s, served on many projects and service committees as well as being an active performer in the then JWL fundraising event, Fall Follies.
-
After her years with JWL, Costello-Northcutt went on to serve the Enid community as the United Way board president and president of Rotary. She was on the Integris Bass Hospital Governing board for 16 years and served as the secretary. Northcutt has also served on the Salvation Army board and has been a sustaining chair for JWL more than once.
-
She and her husband, Leonard, are active members of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
-
Costello-Northcutt will be presented with the Legacy Award at this year’s Charity Gala, A Night at Studio 54, on December 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the Stride Bank Center. For ticket information, please visit bidr.co/events/jwl19.
