A Celebration of Life service for Juaneva June Lakin age 87 of Hillsdale, OK will be 10:00 am Thursday at Hillsdale Bible Church with Rev. Jack Zumwalt and Rev. Allen Seimears officiating. Bural will follow in the Hillsdale Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
June was born July 28, 1938, in Severy, KS to George W. (Babe) and Alpha M. (Vanzant) Seimears and passed away March 14, 2026, in the Greenbrier Nursing Home.
June married Bobby Joe Lakin in 1956 and he passed away February 14, 1987. She was a member of Hillsdale Bible Church.
June is survived by her children; Sid (Linda) Lakin of Hillsdale, OK, Wes (Suzi) Lakin of Beaver, AR, Rod (Paige) Lakin of White Oak, TX. Grandchildren; Bobbi (Lenny) Silver, Tomiko (Brenton) Wampler, Cody (Kate) Lakin, Lindsay (Blake) Corder, Brad (Ocie) Walker, Sami (Lance) Woodruff, Riley (Carlee) Lakin. Great grandchildren; Mira Silver, Hadley, Sidney, Weston and Creedon Wampler, Styles and Scarlett Lakin, Hayden, Koltynn and Emery Corder, Trinity McGee, Keegan, Dalton, Jaxson Walker, Charli and Andi Woodruff. Her siblings; Frances, Allen, and Charlie and a host of other family members.
June was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Maisie, Eloise, Walter, Trudy, Peggy, Susie, George, Leon and Steve.
