Louella Jean Walker

The memorial service for Louella “Jean” Walker is 11:00AM Saturday, May 22, 2021 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Louella was a new years baby, born January 1, 1944 to Roy Allison and Marguirte Matilda Newfelt Cooley. Jean went home May 14, 2021.

Jean married the love of her life Wallace “Rudy" Walker on July 7, 1989 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2014. Jean was a domestic engineer most of her adult life, going back to school at age 50. Jean was the office manager for Orkin Exterminating Company from 1994-2002 when she retired. Jean was active in two local Red Hat Societies, My3 behaven Red Hatters and Red Hat Flappers, holding the position of Queens for both chapters. Jean was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veteran’s Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She volunteered for Meals On Wheels, Loaves And Fishes, and CASA.

Jean was a former member of Christian Union Church of Enid and Westminister Presbyterian Church. Jean loved to travel, antique and volunteer. She was sole caretaker for five years of her husband, Rudy, until he was called home. She loved her Red Hat ladies, her puppies, and most of all her family.

She is survived by son, Mark Schram and daughter-in-love, Renee’, of Enid; daughter, Shelly White of Wichita, KS; second son, Randy Miller; granddaughter, Amanda Schram-Jones of Enid; grandson, Preston White of Kansas; one great-granddaughter of Kansas; adopted grandchildren, Chris, Janet and Oliver Pitts of Enid; Sarah, Westen, Trenton, and Peyton Bramwell of Enid; stepchildren, Mary Louise Gill, Katherine Walker, Robert Walker, Ramona “Ann” Horne, Jimmy Walke, and Suzie Ship; brother, William “Bill” Cooley and sister, Lucretia Smith as well as many stepgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews whom she loved dearly…also her furbaby, Brandy.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Darlene Blanchard and Twila Bell; husband, Wallace “Rudy” Walker; grandson-in-love, Mike Jones; best friend, Joanne Walencheck; furbabies, Poncho, Bear, Amigo, Cisco, Sissy, Rocky, Big Bear, Scooby, Bailey and Champ.
