The services celebrating and honoring the life of Jayden Scott Sands, 26, of Enid, will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday in the Brown-Cummings Chapel, with Pastor David Jones officiating. Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Wednesday September 23, 2026 in the Brown-Cummings Celebration home. Burial will follow the services in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.
Jayden was born October 19, 1999, to Amy Sands in Enid, Oklahoma, and passed from this life on September 16, 2026, in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised by his mother and bonus father Robert Trekell in Enid. He attended Enid Public Schools, graduating from Enid High School with the class of 2018. After graduating he worked various places, most recently working as a technician at Discount Tire. Jayden was a quiet person who enjoyed his solitude; in his early years he enjoyed playing with Legos and Hot Wheels, later in life he enjoyed playing video games, watching his brother race on the dirt track, and was a “die-hard” OU and Thunder fan. He loved the outdoors!
He is survived by his parents Amy Trekell and bonus father Robert; his siblings Nikkolas Sands (Taylor), Kymber Trekell (Savian), Robin Trekell, Katie Trekell, Kelie Trekell (Tyler), Robert Trekell, Zachary Zuniga, Riley Zuniga, Kabryn Marquardt, and Kenley Jones; 21 nieces and nephews; his grandparents, Robert Sands, Barbara and Frank Stevens, and Carolyn Williams, and numerous other extended family members, including his dog Nino.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Ron Williams and Tommy Rauschenberg; his grandmother Pam Sands; and his great-grandma Idalee Scott.
