Celebration of life service for Janet Carol Davis, 85, of Oklahoma City will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tom LeGrand officiating. Burial will follow in Kingfisher Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening, 5:30 to 6:30 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Janet was born June 28, 1940, in El Reno, Oklahoma to Edwin Leon and Evellyn Lucille (White) Davis and passed away in Oklahoma City on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
Janet attended and graduated from Omega High School and then received her Bachelors degree from the University of Oklahoma. She worked as Manager MIS for Fife Corporation in Oklahoma City, now known as Maxcess, until she retired in 2010. Janet was an avid supporter of OU sports and watched the Oklahoma City Thunder. She also enjoyed working in her flower gardens. Janet loved her dogs through the years and had a special place in her heart for each of them.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents Edwin Davis and Evelyn Maloney, and her brother Larry Davis.
She is survived by her brother Gary Davis and his wife, Louciel, their children Jason Davis; Tracie Longest and her son Dylan Martin; Chad Davis and his wife Tera; a sister-in-law Barbara Davis, and her children Darren Davis; LeaAnn Pickett and her children Collin, Mandi Anton and her husband Bobby, their children Aidan, Mackenzie, and Emma; Karlena Chadwick and her husband Wesley, and children Leo, Shylynn, Ali Webb and her husband Phillip and their children Evelyn, Dustin, and Raymond; their grandchildren Everly, Austin, and Justin.
