ENID, OK - Over two hundred bikers made their way from all over Oklahoma to south Van Buren in Enid, Oklahoma. The biking community gathered at Hutch's Gas Station on Saturday morning to ride together north to Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
-
The motorcycle procession rode together to the funeral home on north Van Buren. There, they paid their respects to the family of Delair White, who had passed away in a motorcycle accident on August 12. Delair was a well known figure in the local motorcycle community.
-
The funeral procession then proceeded downtown to the Central National Bank Center following a police escort and the body of Delair, who was transported behind a motorcycle. Hundreds of bikers filled the parking lot and moved inside the Grand Ballroom for the funeral.
-
Upon completion of the memorial services, Delair and the motorcycle procession, rode north up Grand Ave. The tribute ride then proceeded north on Highway 81 to the burial site.
-
The tribute was huge show of support for a fellow biker but a grim reminder of how dangerous bike riding can be. Delaire is survived by his children, Bryanna, Bailey and Jette; brother and his wife, Cody and Grace; sister Whitney; his dad Steven Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.
