A Celebration on Life Service for Hannah Smith Tomlinson, age 80, of Enid, will be 2:30pm, Friday, February 28, 2025 at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Hannah Smith Gould Tomlinson was born on December 26, 1944, in Glasgow, Scotland to James Muir Gould and Marion Reid Smith Wright Gould. She was called to her eternal rest on February 21, 2025, while at the Commons Nursing Home, in Enid, where she resided.
Hannah attended school in Glasgow, before leaving school to work at a local tie factory. Hannah wanted to help people, so she went to work for a hospital in Glasgow. She worked at the hospital until she met and married Jerry K. Tomlinson on April 29, 1967. While living in Glasgow they had their first daughter, AnneMarie. After AnneMarie was born they moved to the United States.
Following Jerry's job, the family lived in several States, Including Colorado, where they had their second daughter Kim, and son, Jerry, then moved to Nebraska, Arkansas, Mississippi and several other sates before settling in Enid, Oklahoma in 1984. After moving to Enid, Hannah went back to working at hospitals and nursing homes, eventually retiring from the Commons.
Hannah always enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also liked listening to country music and was passionate about the Denver Broncos. She liked going out on the town, the sound of slot machines, and traveling with family and friends.
Hannah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one grandson, Aaron Michael Tomlinson. She is survived by AnneMarie Miller and husband Scott; and granddaughter Shyla; daughter Kim Davis and husband Tom; granddaughters Alecia and Miranda; son Jerry Tomlinson and wife Anita and grandchildren Brittany and great-granddaughter Averie, Bailey; and great grandchildren, Alex, Winry and Riley and Kevin and all of Enid.

Hannah, you were a hoot and a half to work with at my 1st true job as a CNA. You taught me so much. Later as I again worked with you, you continued to teach me how to laugh and persevere. I will miss you so much. May God grant you peace and hold your family in the palms of His hands. I pray for comfort, strength and courage for your family.
