Frances Elaine Thedford (Wehr)

Wednesday, April 22nd, 1936 - Thursday, February 11th, 2021

A Graveside service for Francis “Elaine” Thedford age 84 of Enid will be 2:00 pm Saturday at the Morris Heights Cemetery (1 mile west of I-35 and Hwy 51) with Rev. David Jones officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends, Friday from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Elaine was born April 22, 1936 on the farm near Orlando, OK to Francis and Ruth Webb Wehr and passed away early Thursday morning in St. Mary’s Hospital. She attended and graduated from Orlando High School. She married Kenny Thedford on October 6, 1956. They moved to Enid in 1961. She started working at Rainbow Bread and later went to work for Marquis Studios. Elaine helped Kenny with Acme Fence Company. She was a member of Willow Road Christian Church. Elaine cherished her time that she could spend with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Teni Sharp, son Kent Thedford, grandchildren; Wacy Sharp and wife Jodi, Trent Sharp and wife Haley, Kiel Thedford and Kevin Thedford and wife Vanessa, great grandchildren, Gunner, Anndi, Braxi, Kennon, Layton and Bodie, brother Joe Wehr and wife Jane, and several other family members.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenny, sisters Myrna Lemmon and Connie LaRue, brothers; Dwight, John, and Dale Wehr.

Memorials may be made to Willow Road Christian Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
