The event consists of businesses, organizations, groups, or people that will have booths - preferably decorated - set up on the courthouse lawn where kids can trick or treat, costume contests, a Halloween Queen pageant, a best apple or pumpkin recipe contest, and a jack-o-lantern contest. The categories for the costume contests are 0-5, 6-12, 13-18, adult, and group. The prime trick-or-treating times are typically 6-9pm. Homes with lights on will have usually have candy, homes that are dark most likely will not. Guest speaker is David Mason, Mayor of Enid. The event is free to attend.
