American Military Heritage Museum Grand Opening
Oakwood Mall 4125 W. Owen K. Garriott, Enid, OK, United StatesThe former OK Military History Exhibit now has a permanent home inside the old Sears space at Oakwood Mall. Join them for the grand opening of the American Military Heritage Museum on Saturday, November 2 from 11 am-4 pm. Food, fun, live music and 40,000 sq ft of military memorabilia. Free admission. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission announces the following celebratory events: PRAYER BREAKFAST: Stride Bank Center Ballroom at 8:00am. PROGRAM: The celebratory program begins at 11:30am at the Stride Bank Center Ballroom. MARCH: The march is scheduled for 1:30pm. NOC Gantz Center 2200 E Maine, Enid, OK, United StatesCity of Enid Ward 2 Commissioner Derwin Norwood will speak at Black History Month on Feb. 26 at NOC Enid. The program will begin at 11:30 a.m. in Montgomery Hall in the Gantz Center. Norwood will speak on “African Americans and Labor.” All NOC students, faculty, staff, and the public are invited. A free lunch serving ‘Down Home Soul Food’ will be provided. The event will be streamed by NOC.
