A memorial service celebrating the life of Ellen Arlene Roberts, 72, of Enid will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Emmanual Enid Church with Rev. Wade Burleson officiating. Visitation with the family is Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cremation and arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Arlene was born on April 22, 1953 in Enid to Frank I. and Ellen N. (Franke) Robinette and passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in Enid.
Arlene grew up in Enid and graduated from Pioneer High School in 1971. On April 20, 1973, she married Gary Roberts in Enid. She was a legal secretary for over 30 years at Gungoll Jackson Law Firm. Arlene was an active member of Enid AM Too Ambucs, and she enjoyed quilting, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.
Arlene is survived by her daughters Amy Barton and husband Tony of Enid, and Abby Hilterbrand and husband Adam of Wellington, Colorado; 9 grandchildren Maison & Roger, Karlie, Killian, Camdyn, Charlie, Blye, Annaliesa, and Garri Anne; 1 great grandson Emerson, and another great grandson on the way; and her 3 sisters Saralin, Kandice, and Maryl.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gary, her parents and her brother Chuck Robinette.
