Donald Lee Lincoln

OI1277021154_DonaldLincolnpictureGraveside services for Donald Lee Lincoln, 87, of Enid will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Kelly Russell officiating. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the United States Army.

Don was born November 16, 1927 to Roy and Lorena (Wylie) Lincoln in Enid, OK and passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 in Stillwater, OK after a long battle with cancer. He was being cared for in Stillwater by his daughter, Dell and his ex-wife and friend, Mary Holmes, along with the loving care of the Ross Hospice ladies.

Don graduated from Enid High School in 1945, then joined the U.S. Army and served in Germany. He later worked for the Champlin Petroleum Company for 36 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the American Legion Post #4, and the Garfield Masonic Lodge #501.

Don was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Dell Livsey of Stillwater; sister, Betty (Bill) Maxwell of Edmond, OK; niece, Sandra (John) May of Austin, TX; nephew, Col. Jeff (Myra) Maxwell of Edmond, OK; and his beloved rescue cat, Kitty.Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
