David Christopher Poston, 59, Enid, formerly of Blackwell, was born on July 28, 1957 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the son of Fredrick Douglas and Lorene Lee Logue Poston, and passed away on November 9, 2016 in Oklahoma City.
He worked as a derrick hand his entire life and married Marilyn Sue Kennon in Miami, Oklahoma on July 9, 2006. David enjoyed working, fishing, grilling, family and friends. He was a loving husband to Sue.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn Sue of the residence; step-children,brothers, Rick and Rita Poston of Mulbury, Tennessee, Steve Poston of Tuttle, Oklahoma, and Dennis Poston of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters, Helen (Poston) and Darrel Rutter of Blackwell, Karen (Poston) Brooks, Joan (Poston) and Donnie Hall of Enid, and Debra (Poston) Elliott of Ponca City; sixteen nieces and nephews.
