Cynthia Ojanna Williams

August 6, 1937 - March 20, 2022

Mass of Christian Burial for Cynthia Williams will be Friday, March 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Mason celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Enid. Recitation of the Rosary will be Thursday evening at 6:00 pm in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel.

Cynthia was born on August 6, 1937 in Paris, Texas to Jess and Marie Sidwell and died on March 20, 2022 in Enid, with her family by her side.

She grew up in Pond Creek, Oklahoma and attended Memorial High School in Enid, where she graduated. Cynthia went to Enid Business College. On October 21, 1955, she married Charles Ray Williams in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pond Creek. They made their home in Enid. Cynthia was a seamstress, and sewed for Enid High Band for many years. She was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir, taught religious education for 40 years, and taught vacation bible school. Cynthia was a lector and extra ordinary eucharist minister. She helped with many activities at the church. Cynthia sang with the Garfield County Singers for many years. Her life revolved around children, biological or by choice. She loved attending her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren activities.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie; brothers, John, Jessie and Raymond.

She is survived by her children, Justin Charles (Ramona) Williams, Joanna Marie (Tom) Hau, Austin Ray (Deb) Williams, Aaron Patrick (Connie) Williams, Tracie Ann (Bob) Stump; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; brother, Greg (Teresa) Sidwell; sisters, Liz (Tom) Zaloudek, Carmen (Bill) Schultz, Mary Sidwell; Virginia Zaloudek, Rosemary (Rick) New; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
