ENID, OK - June 27, 2017 - Cecil Peters, 71, a long time business owner passed away Friday, June 23, 2017. Cecil was the owner and jeweler of Cecil's Jewelry at 718 W. Broadway, a long time occupant of the Posey Building.

Cecil grew up on the family farm south of town. He attended Enid schools and Enid Business College. Cecil was in the jewelry and clock repair business in Enid since 1975.

Cecil's Jewelry was always a well trusted business that generations of families relied on year after year. You could drop items off knowing Cecil would figure a way to fix them or make them new again.

Cecil's wife will be contacting current customers soon and will make arrangements to get jewelry back to the rightful owners. The future of Cecil's Jewelry has yet to be determined but they are currently closed.
