Cecil J. Morgan

June 21, 1950 - January 30, 2021

Cecil J. Morgan was born in Enid, Oklahoma on June 21, 1950 and sunset on January 30, 2021. Cecil found the Lord at an early age and later became a dedicated member of Grayson first Baptist Church in Enid, Oklahoma. Cecil was born to Johnny and Geneva Morgan, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by brothers Irvell Morgan, Henry Holmes, and Greg Hogan; as well as sister Shirley Hogan. Cecil‘s favorite past-time during childhood and into his adulthood was fishing. He relocated from Enid, Oklahoma to Riverside, California in 1960. While living in Riverside, California, Cecil worked for TK Burgers; a job he thoroughly enjoyed. He returned home to Enid, Oklahoma in the late 1970’s. He was employed with the City of Enid in the Solid Waste Department for several years before his retirement. In the way we all know him to be, Cecil quickly grew restless with retirement and took a part-time job at Costello’s Continental Cuisine, where he quickly became adored by both fellow employees and patrons of the restaurant. Many people treated him like family due to his comforting and warm nature. After his return home in the late 1970’s, Cecil met the love of his life Patricia May (Bennett) Morgan. The lovely couple was married for over 30 years before she went home to be with the Lord in March of 2014. Special friends James Pugh and Hercules Finley will also be there to welcome Cecil at the gates of heaven.

Cecil leaves to celebrate his homecoming daughter Donella Davis (spouse Charles Austin) of Enid, Oklahoma. Son Cecil J. Morgan, Jr. and daughter Debbie Morgan, both of Riverside, California. (All which he bore with ex-wife Judy (Bruce) Mackey.) Son Andy J. (wife Shannon) Morgan and daughter Lekesha P. Morgan; all of Enid, Oklahoma.
